Kevin's Webpage

Hello and welcome to my glorious new website! My name is Kevin O'Brien and twenty-one years old. I'm currently in my second year of a National Certificate in Computing, which I am studying at CIT in Bishopstown, Cork.

A picture of me!

I'm from Blarney, Co. Cork and I am still living there with my parents, Edel and Frank, my two sisters, Aideen and Aisling and my small brother Colm who is six.
As I have said before, I am from Blarney. Blarney is a beautiful scenic little village, situated about five miles north west of Cork city. The majority of people who know anything about Blarney will have heard about the world famous Blarney Castle and Blarney Woollen Mills.
Blarney has three fine hotels to choose from, one of them is The Blarney Park Hotel. I work there part-time as a Hall Porter.

I started my education in Scoil an Chroí Ró Naofa Boys National school in Blarney, Co.Cork. I spent eight wonderful years there under the command of principal Colm Sisk. I then decided that it was time to move on from Blarney's excellent educational system and to proceed with my secondary level learning in the city. There, I joined sixty seven of my future class mates whom were all chosen to start in first year at the acclaimed St.Finbarr's College, Farranferris, Cork.
Generally, most pupils spend five years of their time at this school, but I opted to take part in a transitional year. The idea of this year was to give the pupils a little bit of rest and relaxation after the Junior Certificate and before the Leaving Certificate cycles. Really, this year was quite beneficial to us as we were taught alot of new skills and even managed to study a little bit for the leaving Certificate while we were having all of this fun.
All too quickly though, the fun and excitement was over and I was straight into the leaving Cert. I passed through it though with flying colours and landed myself a place on a certificate course in computing in CIT where I am still currently studying.

Everyday I come to college on my motorbike. I have a Suzuki GN 125. It's not particularly fast, but it gets me to college nonetheless.

I have been told that I have to keep this first page relatively plain, so I'll try and jazz my next few up a little bit more.
